How do you cover the panoramic glass roof? Or do you wake up at 5am in the summer?

Looks like theres an option:
*Darken all windows, including the panoramic roof, with magnetic pleated blinds for pleasant dreams. The ventilation slots on the front doors provide fresh air, even when the windows are closed.*

It looks quite attractive tbh, if you want a 5 seater rig that you can sleep in occasionally. I can't see them selling many Caddy Californias when it launches, but that depends on price.

Makes sense, hopefully better than the tent arrangement in the Cali SE!

Don't these have a button to make the glass opaque? Kinda like those Transitions lenses from the 90's. I know this technology is used on other vehicles coming out now.

Can’t sit up in bed either….

No mention of that, and I think even when opaque those windows let light through. They are presumably very pricey too - Porsche do a mad one that incrementally turns opaque from front to back with the swipe of a finger.
If those ‘magnetic pleated blinds’ have the qualities of the magnetic cab blinds you get with a Cali, they’ll be flawed as a sleeping curtain too.

So come spring, you can look at all the bird crap on your roof from below. Lovely.

At least it wouldn't damage the paintwork on the roof.

So you check your roof hourly in case a bird has targeted it. At least with a glass roof you can see it without getting out the steps.

I just picked up my new Beach today and was chatting to the staff. One big problem they told me is that it is longer. Maybe not much by a google suggests 25cm? I just parked my new 6.1 back at my flats and it just fits in the parking space.
