Sorry if this is a silly question or if it has already been posted but is there a toolkit in the T7, and if so where is it?
I have a pump and a can of tyre goo in the drivers door pocket but can’t find anything else.
Is there a jack with the vehicle? Obviously you don’t get a spare tyre but would still expect to get one. The manual mentions a few items I haven’t found yet, such as the removable towing hitch.
I am expecting to be red faced when I am told where it is but all help welcome.

Hi. Haven't got you an answer re a Jack, but this is something we didn't think of asking either ! !

Button on left side (just about level with shower plug in) to drop detachable tow ball.

What other things have you seen in manual that we should ask about on Friday on pick up ?

Thanks

The manual is for all possible options. Does your van come with a tow bar? If not, you are not going to find the towing hitch.
If you don't have a spare wheel, you don't have a jack or wrench, because you don't need it.
I have them, because I have a spare wheel, and when I have a flat tyre, I need the jack and wrench to change the wheels.
In your case, you just have to throw the goo away, and certainly never use it. If you do, the tyre is gone anyway.
I don't know if the T7 comes with a spare as an option?

Can someone with a T7 agree or correct my response?

The kit is in the rear on the right under the plastic grill.
It’s pretty tight, good luck getting much else in there!

Added note :-
We have joined the RAC (£100 for 12 months/personal driver cover). Not only for Cali use but also other vehicles in household.
If they can't repair at roadside then they fit you a universal spare so you can get to a tyre fitting place or home. They will collect spare tyre from you after a few days.

Brilliant, I would never had found that! Not sure a screwdriver and a towing eye can be classed as a toolkit but it is what the handbook said there would be.
I do agree there is little need for a jack but it does remove any option of taking a wheel off to do any checks.

Well, in my eyes a screwdriver and a towing eye really are tools. The one is a tool to unscrew or pry open, the other can be usefull when you have a flat tyre, no jack and no spare wheel so the road assistant can tow the van on the flat bed.
On the other hand, if you need a jack to do checks, it will be at home. Just store a real jack (not the sheet metal one from VW) in the garage so you can do checks in a safe manner.

No spare wheel means no jack or wrench. You likely have tyre sealant instead

p…I got the same puncture repair kit which seems standard on UK T7 2025 californias…no jack included… what there is is a small tool kit RHS by the rear door under a small vertical panel.. pull it out and there you are…also the 2025 cali does not have a magnetic phone charger fitted to UK models!
