Delivery soon.
Fortana red.
It’s a bit late in the year for some trips this year.

Anything I must buy as an essential?

I’d say the towbar is a good idea as retrofit seems difficult.

These are year round fun!
Great colour choice.
If you’ve been camping you probably own everything you need.

Hi L and A pleased you found the forum. Tons of great info on here for general camper van questions as well as the more specific T7 stuff.
Do you have a collection date booked?

Gas canister, plates, cutlery, pots. The essentials needed for eating and cooking and washing up.
If you are camping with it then seat covers take away the worry of sunscreen, grease, wet bathing suits etc. staining the seats. Mine are from Brandrup (T6.1) and look identical to the original, but there are cheaper options.
A cadac safari or similar to supplement the single burner and also for cooking smelly things.
For the rest I recommend not buying anything until you have used the camper.

It’s in stock and I have 2 cars being sold/part ex so it’s complicated, however, I’m planning on next week.

I would recommend the iso liners for the top, they keep down the light in summer and give a much more stable temp all year round

It’s been a struggle but I have a collection date for next week.

Just the weather for a spot of camping!

My two cents: If you haven’t ordered your Cali with a tow bar, then change your order NOW !!! You may well regret it later…

It’s too late but I have no intention of towing or a cycle rack.

Am I missing something?

No after market fitting available at the moment for T7 I believe.

It doesn't look like you can get one for the T7 yet from what I could see?

I think the towbar is worth adding to improve future residuals given that's the best way to take bikes on the T7. If you look at the in stock ones that dealers have ordered, a lot of them have specified towbars for that exact reason.

Collect next week, looking forward to it.

Been looking at stuff to buy and have resisted so far.

Does anyone know how much space there is in the top bunk with the roof closed? I’m hoping to leave a sleeping bag up there with the roof down. Unfolded of course.

I have a T7 now for 6 months. The only addition I purchased was the electric operated tow bar, which fits neatly out of sight when not in use

I have collected.

Do they all creak, tick and rattle?

It’s the kitchen unit, I’m hoping that it will get quieter when weighed down with stuff as it’s empty right now.

Does anyone else have a petrol version? It’s missing an engine cover and it seems to be deliberate because of a recall as the covers were a fire risk.
