Thinking of getting the multi van califonia ocean, as there are only two of us and a dog it would be good to have a single bed downstairs rather than the double. If they split it down the middle you could have the choice. Is it too soon to have an aftermarket solution for this or does one exist?

The seats in the Multivan are individual, not a bench as in previous models. They can be slid and removed individually too.

I'd also be interested in single bed option downstairs. For when I travel on my own..

You could buy half a Vanessa Mobil Camping Arco system, but honestly I don’t think it’s worth the bother unless you have a Multivan or Beach maybe.

I think you’d have to make up a board sit on top of the seat.
The rear shelf is full width, would you want to remove that as well?

Thanks for your reply, no, I'm literally thinking of the fold down mattress being in two sections rather than one, then you can either fold the whole thing down for a double or just half as a single. No change to rear shelf.
