Hi all - still getting a few bits sorted for our imminent T7 Beach arrival (driving all the way from Newcastle to Liverpool to collect and then staying at the marina in Liverpool so wanting to arrive prepared!)

Does anyone have any suggestions for a fitted sheet for the roof bed and also the beach bottom bed (or just the roof bed if you're not a beach owner!)

Thanks!

We use a single duvet cover with the mattress inside as a sheet for the roof bed. We also use the same method for our mattress topper on the downstairs bed although we have an Ocean.

Easy to put on and remove for washing.

We use the custom Duvalay sheets that zip onto their mattress, if you decide you want a topper.
For the mattress in the roof bed I went to Dunelm Mill and got a flannel duvet set, the single duvet cover fits over the mattress perfectly and is cozy.

You can also get fitted sheets from the club shop by Duvalay but they are quite expensive.

If you are getting your van from Swansway they are good for checking any software updates are done prior to pick up. If you find the van doesn't have some of the listed accessories such as fly screens for sliding doors, caps if you remove a wind out awning or mats then they are really quick to order them and post them out to you.

We travelled from Scotland by train to their van centre in Preston for pick up and brought all our camping stuff down in big hold alls including porta potti. They covered our taxi fare from the train station to the van centre. We wanted to test the van close to the dealer that night so any small issues could be sorted quickly. Thankfully there were no issues and we spent a night in Kendal on the way home.

Enjoy your new van.

Very helpful thanks - I need to make sure they charge it too given the first night location doesn't have hookup

Very exciting, enjoy. Where can you camp / park on the marina in Liverpool?

The marina has a specific campervan area, includes access to the toilets and showers etc and looks pretty secure <https://www.liverpoolmarina.com/rvparking>

Hi, congrats. Exciting times. We have the same van and just use single on the top and double on the mattress topper for the double.

Do you know similar camper van spots in Newcastle close to town centre?

Sadly not anything official with loos etc like that - there are various spots you could park up but not safe / secure like Liverpool. It's a shame as we have a marina with showers loos etc who could probably do well offering it!
